Our Infrastructure Debt franchise is growing and we are seeking two professionals to join our team in Paris. In this role, you will support the origination and structuring of investments and play an active role in the execution of infrastructure transactions. The team has a strong focus on the energy transition and digital transformation, investing across a broad range of sub-sectors, including renewable energy, optic fibre, data centres, rolling stock, roads, water and waste utilities, as well as social infrastructure.

The team
The roles will be based in the Infrastructure Debt team in Paris. Established in 2015, Schroders Capital Infrastructure debt has successfully raised and invested >€6bn across senior and junior debt strategies, targeting core European infrastructure assets. The team is now composed of 25 professionals based in Paris and London and continues to experience strong growth.
What you’ll do
As an Investment Analyst, you will support the team throughout the sourcing, structuring and execution of infrastructure debt investments. You will play a key role in the preparation of investment memoranda, including the review of commercial, financial, technical, legal and ESG due diligence reports, as well as complex financial models, to support investment decisions. The role also includes supporting the Asset Management team with portfolio monitoring, reporting, waiver requests, and a range of ESG-related ad-hoc tasks.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Strong academic credentials (Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline) and solid corporate finance fundamentals
- Prior experience (0-2 years experience) in infrastructure debt or equity, project finance , M&A or a related industry is a plus
- Proficiency with Excel – prior financial modelling is a plus
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and written communication skills
- Team working spirit – willing to learn and to develop in a team with a flat structure
- Fluency in French and English
