Imagine this. You are starting your HR career inside a fast-moving aerospace and defense company, working directly alongside our HR Business Partners and gaining hands-on exposure to the challenges of supporting and growing international teams. As an HR Intern in Madrid, you will support our HRBPs across the employee lifecycle, HR operations, people data, and internal projects. What You'll Do
- Support our HR Business Partners with day-to-day HR activities and employee-related topics
- Assist throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes, internal moves, documentation, and offboarding
- Prepare HR documentation and help ensure employee records and HR systems remain accurate and up to date
- Support the preparation of HR reports, presentations, and people data for HRBP activities and internal decision-making
- Coordinate onboarding activities and help create a smooth experience for new employees from day one
- Be a first point of support for general employee HR questions and connect employees with the right person when needed
- Assist HRBPs with recurring people processes, meetings, documentation, and follow-up actions
- Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving processes, employee experience, and the way we work
- Support internal events, employee initiatives, and activities that help bring our teams together
- Collaborate with the wider international People team and gain exposure to different areas of HR
Requirements
What You'll Need
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Law or a related field
- Strong interest in developing your career in HR and learning how an HR Business Partner function operates
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information responsibly
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Professional working proficiency in both Spanish and English, as English is our main working language across Destinus
- Previous HR, administrative, or people-related internship experience is a plus, but not essential
- Eligibility to complete an internship in Spain
