Job Title: Customer Service Specialist Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Specialist, where you will play a key role in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position offers the opportunity to grow into an Account Manager role, with potential bonuses and career advancement. Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a small team in our corporate office on assigned tasks.
- Process orders and complete order entry using NetSuite ERP system.
- Engage with customers through warm and cold calls to re-establish business relationships.
- Manage 60% customer service tasks and 40% sales calls.
- Accept and input orders, answer customer inquiries via phone and webchat.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to fulfill custom sign requests.
- Develop creative solutions to enhance process efficiency.
- Assist the Sales Department with additional duties as needed.
- Oversee the entire back-end process of orders, ensuring clarity and understanding with customers.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in order entry, data entry, and order processing.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and switch between them seamlessly.
- Crystal-clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to extrapolate information and ensure mutual understanding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in outside sales and cold calling.
- Familiarity with CRM and logistics.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Positive, friendly, and self-motivated attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and initiative for improvement.
- Adaptability and critical thinking skills.
Work Environment
Our office boasts a team-oriented environment with a small team of eight people. We offer full-time hours from Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. While the atmosphere is relaxed and laid-back, punctuality and good attendance are essential. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and friendly workplace, where many team members have been part of the company for over five years. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
