The Program Lifecycle Administrator reports to the Senior Executive Director, Academic Strategic Analytics and is a key member of the Office of Academic Strategy & Analytics (ASA), holding dual responsibility for processes for academic program introduction and sunsetting as well as data analysis.
The Administrator oversees the program development, launch, and sunset process for all degree programs, providing direct advisory support to faculty and academic leadership navigating the process, and administering ASA’s tools, workflow and process documentation as well as supporting leadership on active research initiatives. The Administrator serves as a coordination point between ASA’s analytical and academic operations functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Oversee the process by which Academic Deans and Chairs implement new and sunset underperforming academic programs, ensuring each stay on track across all governance stages. This includes guiding faculty and departmental leaders on ASA’s program lifecycle processes, tools and resources.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for faculty, academic leadership, and administrative offices navigating the program development process, advising on timelines and submission requirements.
- Track new program proposals through governance stages, executing launch and sunset operational checklists, and ensuring all stakeholders are informed and milestones are met. Establish and track key performance indicators for workflow effectiveness, system, and program lifecycle coordination outcomes. This includes developing and delivering regular progress reports and assessing stakeholder engagement.
- Own and maintain ASA’s project management workflow frameworks, building, maintaining, and overseeing workflow templates that support program lifecycle, coordination, and analytical functions as well maintaining the shared operating calendar. Analytical & Research Support.
- Support and engage in active research projects, including data gathering, analysis, research, and market scans that contribute to health check, opportunity screen, APR (academic program review), and program effectiveness work.
- Prepare data sets and organize information from multiple sources to establish starting points for analytical cycles. Draft narratives of reports, briefing documents, and stakeholder-facing summaries for review and approval.
- Maintain and update reference materials and research files that support ASA’s active analytical queue.
- Contribute to the development of dashboards, data visualizations, and reporting tools in collaboration with the analytical team.
- Systems Oversight & Vendor Management
- Lead stakeholder onboarding to ASA’s analytical tools and systems, developing materials and delivering onboarding sessions for deans, chairs, and faculty.
- Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and institutional requirements; partner with Procurement, Finance, and IT Security on renewals and data agreements.
- Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of a central resource center for ASA, serving as the primary point of access for stakeholders for process guides, submission documentation, governance timelines, research resources, and system and process reference materials.
- Curate and maintain all resource center content, ensuring materials are current, accurate, and ready for internal and external use before any function is communicated externally.

QUALIFICATIONS – Qualifications are deemed required or preferred and represent what is needed to effectively perform job.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of experience in academic operations, research support, project coordination, institutional administration, or a related field required. Higher education experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent workflows, timelines, and stakeholder relationships in a deadline-driven environment required
- Experience conducting baseline analysis, secondary research, and data gathering in support of analytical or planning functions required
- Experience developing, documenting, and implementing operational processes and standard operating procedures required
- Familiarity with academic workflow management tools and systems, project management systems, and market intelligence tools required
- Experience overseeing vendor relationships and managing contract renewals for third-party service providers preferred
- Experience facilitating training, onboarding sessions, or stakeholder orientation programs preferred
- Experience with project management platforms as a super-user or advanced user, including template development, timeline tracking, and workflow configuration preferred

- Analytical fluency; ability to gather, organize, and interpret data from multiple sources and translate findings into clear written narratives required
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, V lookups, and charts; proficiency with project management systems, data visualization tools, and systems administration required
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills communication skills; ability to produce well-organized, audience-appropriate documents and reports required
- Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to devise solutions with limited information and resolve issues independently required
- Fluency in developing, documenting, and implementing standard operating procedures required
- Strong understanding of change management principles; experience facilitating stakeholder adoption of new workflows, systems, and processes preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization skills required
- Able to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality required
- Ability to work autonomously and exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced, evolving environment required

- This is a remote position with the expectation that on campus attendance for meetings, planning sessions, and engagements as needed throughout the semester and academic year is required.

Compensation: $66,270.00 - $81,200.00 annually, commensurate with experience.

This position will be exclusively represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 888 for purposes of wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
