Responsibilities:

• Serve as a JOC Watch Officer supporting 24/7 USCENTCOM Joint Operations Center operations and maintaining continuous situational awareness across the AOR.
• Serve as a communications node between the CENTCOM JOC, Component Commands, subordinate units, coalition forces, Joint Staff, and mission partners.
• Support JOC CHOPS and Team Chief by collecting, validating, and rapidly communicating operational information and significant activities.
• Track and report CENTCOM operations, force posture, RIP-TOA activities, Response Force readiness, U.S. personnel, and operational movements throughout the AOR.
• Monitor and report Ballistic Theater Missile Defense systems, air and ISR assets, casualties, wounded personnel transportation, and Human Remains movements.
• Monitor weather impacts to ISR, maritime, and other operational activities and provide timely reporting on mission impacts.
• Track humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, repatriation, crisis response, and other designated operations and provide status updates to JOC leadership.
• Monitor operational reporting for CCIRs, SIRs, IRs, 5Ws, and BLUFs and provide real-time notifications during crisis and high-threat events.
• Maintain operational information within Maven Smart System and C2IE, leveraging AI-enabled capabilities to enhance senior leader situational awareness.
• Track AMHSIO messages, support DRRS coordination, and rapidly respond to information requests from the CENTCOM Commander, J3, JOC CHOPS, and senior leaders.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience supporting joint, combatant command, military operations, operations centers, or national security missions.
• Experience serving as a JOC Watch Officer or supporting 24/7 operations, real-time situational awareness, operational reporting, and crisis response.
• Experience coordinating operational information across Component Commands, subordinate units, Joint Staff, coalition forces, and mission partners.
• Ability to communicate operational information through CCIRs, SIRs, IRs, 5Ws, BLUFs, status reports, operational updates, and senior leader briefings.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for SAP access and ability to support OCONUS deployment requirements, including SPOT/LOA requirements.

Desired:

• Experience supporting USCENTCOM or another Geographic Combatant Command JOC, including JOC battle rhythm, reporting requirements, and CCMD operational products.
• Experience with Maven Smart System, C2IE, AMHSIO, DRRS, and other command-and-control, operational picture, messaging, or readiness systems.
• Experience supporting crisis operations, missile defense, ISR and force posture tracking, personnel accountability, Response Force readiness, and senior leader decision support.

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$71,500 - $150,200
