Role Overview 🚀
The Strategic Consultant is a trusted adviser to our customers, helping them shape and evolve their long-term benefits strategies while maximising the value of their Benifex solutions. Combining benefits expertise, market insight and commercial awareness, you will provide strategic guidance, shape solutions and support customers through change, expansion and optimisation initiatives. Working closely with Account Directors, Customer Success, Services teams and Marketplace partners, you will strengthen strategic customer conversations and support key commercial opportunities. This role is focused on delivering customer value while ensuring recommendations align with sustainable commercial outcomes and long-term success.
Responsibilities 🤘
- Advise customers on benefits strategy, market trends and optimisation opportunities.
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, supporting long-term decision-making.
- Manage relationships with Marketplace providers and recommend solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Identify and maximise renewal, change and growth opportunities.
- Scope high-level requirements, change requests and associated commercial proposals.
- Support customers through change, expansion and benefits enhancements.
- Facilitate collaboration between customers, Services teams and internal stakeholders.
- Support RFPs, customer presentations and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Account Directors and Customer Success teams to maximise customer value and adoption.
What are we looking for? 🔎
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits and market trends.
- Experience developing benefits strategies and advising customers.
- Ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and solution-shaping experience.
- Experience with scoping, requirements gathering and change initiatives.
- Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Collaborative and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
