Hunter Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. If you have hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and take pride in doing quality work, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Diagnose & Repair

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of customer and dealership vehicles.

- Perform routine maintenance as well as more complex mechanical and electrical repairs.

- Use modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns.

Quality & Efficiency

- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Perform thorough inspections and identify additional service or repair needs.

- Follow manufacturer procedures and recommended repair guidelines.

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle needs and repair recommendations.

- Provide accurate information to help create a smooth customer experience.

- Work as part of a team to maintain an efficient and productive shop environment.

Safety & Professional Development

- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

- Stay current with new automotive technology, diagnostic equipment, and manufacturer procedures.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

- 1–2 years of main shop automotive technician experience required.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilities.

- Experience with electrical troubleshooting is a plus.

- ASE certifications and/or manufacturer training are highly preferred.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

- Must have your own professional set of tools.
