About this role
Position Summary
As an HRMS Analyst, you will design, build, test and maintain technology solutions that help our payroll team work better. You will support integrations, enhancements, reporting and issue resolution across Oracle HCM, Oracle EBS and ADP.
This role will own the stability of our Oracle-to-ADP interfaces and will also automate manual reconciliation and balancing work, produce control evidence for internal and external audit, and track vendor service performance with data.
This is not a payroll processing role. Your success in this role will be measured by the manual effort removed; the payroll runs protected from system failure, and how quickly audit evidence can be produced.
You will work closely with Payroll, HRMS, IT, Finance and ADP. The role suits someone with strong technical skills and a solid grasp of business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
- Design, configure, and extend Oracle HCM using tools such as HCM Extracts and BIP/OTBI reporting .
- Review payroll processes and interfaces and remediate any deficiencies as well as enhance efficiency.
- Help build out innovative solutions to problems that consume a lot of the payroll team’s time.
Operations & Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data, integrations, security, workflows, etc.
- Build alerting so that interface failures are detected and escalated before payroll deadlines.
- Build small scale solutions to help the payroll team validate and reconcile data more easily.
- Support root-cause analysis on every payroll-impacting incident; maintain an incident log and drive permanent fixes with IT, middleware owners and ADP
- Maintain documentation including functional/technical designs, processes, test scripts, integration specifications.
- Participate in change management for infrastructure, middleware and Office/macro changes that affect payroll; develop and execute regression and UAT test scripts
Reporting & Data Management
- Build and optimize reports, dashboards, and analytics for the payroll team.
- Manage data loads, transformations, and validations using applicable teams.
- Help ensure data quality, compliance, and audit readiness across payroll related systems.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with the Payroll team, HRMS/IT teams, and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support end‑to‑end project activities including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives such as HCM upgrades, integrations with other systems, process deployments or designs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical skills, e.g. SQL and PL/SQL skills. Understanding of data models and system architecture.
- 3+ years’ techno-functional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or Ora(or a similar system) and or Oracle EBS in a technical or techno functional capacity would be an asset.
- Experience supporting full development lifecycle—analysis, design, build, test, deploy.
- Knowledge of some HR business processes is an asset (e.g. Core HR, Recruiting, Payroll, etc.).
- Experience working in agile environments
- Previous consulting or enterprise-scale implementation experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle Apex is an asset
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent subject
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, from technical detail to executive summary.
- Extremely trustworthy and capable of handling highly sensitive and confidential information

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $63,397 - $79,246 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
