Job Overview
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our multinational, multi-currency European Finance team. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, organised and flexible. We are looking for someone that has excellent interpersonal skills and ability to prioritise with a strong focus on quality, team work and adherence to global deadlines. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Strong Financial Accounting knowledge with robust experience in preparing monthly financial statements as this position will own the entire financial reporting cycle for multiple European legal entities
- Revenue and regulatory filings, both US Gaap and local statutory
- Management of outsource payroll providers, local payroll and employer taxes reporting monthly
- Global Transfer Pricing, working with external providers to produce annual TP documentation per country within the organisation
- Provision of data for multi-currency weekly, monthly and forecast working capital requirements
- Preparation and analysis of Trial Balance and Financial Statements
- Detailed review of Trial Balance
- Monthly reporting requirements
- Knowledge of IFRS / FRS102
- Budget to Actual analysis
- Assistance in the preparation of audit and corporation taxations requirements and liaison with team leads
- Ad hoc projects with the wider Accounting team
Requirements
- Proficiency in Workday would be an advantage (or similar ERP software), proficient MS Excel skills (use of pivot tables, excellent knowledge of formulas) is essential.
- Knowledge, understanding and application of EU VAT regulation and reporting
- Accounting qualification – newly qualified or experienced with 2-3 years of working in similar environment
- Ability to work in an international remote team
