Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent to join the Corporate Brand Equity team as the Director, Digital Product and Experience.  This position has a primary location of New Brunswick, NJ or Jacksonville, FL.

The Director, Digital Product and Experience is a strategic digital product leader responsible for the vision, roadmap, governance, and continuous evolution of JNJ.com and the enterprise digital experience ecosystem. This role drives the delivery of scalable, user-centered digital capabilities that strengthen stakeholder engagement, advance business priorities, and create measurable value across Johnson & Johnson's corporate digital channels.

Serving as the bridge between business, brand, user experience, content, and technology teams, the Director translates strategic goals, customer needs, and brand priorities into innovative digital solutions that balance user experience, technical feasibility, and business impact.

The Director leads digital product strategy and execution while driving targeted transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled capabilities, workflow optimization, automation, and operational improvements that enhance both digital experiences and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Digital Product Strategy & Ownership

- Function as the Product Owner to the vision, strategy, roadmap, and governance for JNJ.com and the enterprise digital ecosystem, ensuring alignment across platforms, content, technology, user experience, and business priorities.
- Lead the design, development, and continuous evolution of digital experiences, capabilities, and supporting content management platforms.
- Champion a data-driven approach to product management by employing user research, analytics, stakeholder feedback, market trends, and experimentation to define, prioritize, and optimize product investments, features, and enhancements.
- Lead internal and external research efforts to understand customer needs, market trends, and emerging digital opportunities.
- Drive platform scalability, interoperability, and reuse of digital capabilities across functions, regions, and customer groups.
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating business requirements and strategic priorities into scalable digital solutions, driving digital initiatives from concept through execution to deliver exceptional user experiences and measurable business value.
- Partner across Corporate Affairs, Communications, Technology, Legal, business units, and external agencies to align product strategy, investments, and execution.
- Manage and prioritize digital product backlogs, roadmaps, release planning, and enhancement initiatives.
- Drive user-centered design and ensure alignment with UX, accessibility, content, brand, and governance standards.
- Foster a product-led mentality that prioritizes customer value, outcome-based decision making, continuous learning, and iterative delivery to achieve strategic business goals.
- Manage agency, technology, and vendor partnerships to ensure quality delivery, innovation, operational excellence, and business value.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics, customer insights, and success measures to drive continuous optimization, product effectiveness, and partner satisfaction.
- Lead digital ecosystem governance to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.

Digital Transformation & AI Enablement

- Identify ways to improve content operations and digital workflows through technology-enabled solutions.
- Drive targeted digital transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience across digital products and operations.
- Partner with Technology teams to introduce AI-enabled capabilities that enhance content creation, content management, personalization, search, knowledge management, publishing, and other digital web processes.
- Support implementation of responsible AI practices that align with company governance, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- Leverage analytics and performance insights to find opportunities for continuous improvement and operational optimization.

Team Leadership

- Lead and develop high-performing product, digital experience, and operations teams.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor team members in digital product management, customer experience, Agile methodologies, and emerging technologies.
- Build team capabilities in digital platforms, analytics, AI-enabled tools, and modern product management practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in digital product management, digital strategy, web platforms, digital communications, or related fields.
- 10+ years of people leadership experience managing internal product owner teams and agency partners.
- Proven experience defining, launching, and optimizing successful digital products and platforms.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, customer experience, accessibility, and digital guidelines
- Experience managing website platforms, content management systems, and digital ecosystems.
- Experience with digital product management methodologies, agile operating models, and customer experience design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing budgets, external partners, and strategic vendor relationships.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across global organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical technology, or highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI implementation, and digital innovation practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms, digital analytics tools, search optimization, marketing technologies, and workflow automation solutions.
- Experience supporting corporate reputation, corporate affairs, corporate communications, or enterprise brand functions.
- Experience leading digital transformation or business process improvement initiatives.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$164,000.00 - $282,900.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
