Job Summary:

Acts as a formal resource coordinating others. Coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Team Lead to join our Distribution business in (Henderson, CO).

This role will make an impact in the following ways:

- Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.

- Provide leadership, direction, and support to warehouse team members to meet safety, quality, and delivery objectives.

- Coordinate workloads and delegate tasks to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting, inventory control, and material management processes.

- Conduct quality checks for damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, and non-conforming material.

- Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and leading safety initiatives.

- Support employee training, coaching, and development to build team capability.

- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, material flow, productivity, and employee development.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

- Collaborate effectively with operations, logistics, and support teams to achieve business goals.

Leadership & Team Development

- Provide daily leadership, direction, and coordination for warehouse operations and team members.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure balanced workload distribution and successful execution of operational priorities.
- Promote a positive, team-first mentality that encourages collaboration, engagement, and mutual respect.
- Support employee training, development, and cross-functional learning opportunities.
- Coach team members on safety, quality, productivity, and standard work expectations.
- Lead by example and demonstrate behaviors consistent with Cummins leadership values and competencies.
- Escalate operational concerns and employee issues appropriately while supporting conflict resolution and team effectiveness.

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

- Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
- Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety through active engagement and leadership.
- Lead safety discussions, training activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure compliance among team members.
- Identify and correct hazards within assigned areas of responsibility.

Quality

- Follow all applicable standard work, work instructions, and quality procedures.
- Conduct quality checks for product damage and inventory discrepancies.
- Identify, contain, and report non-conforming material.
- Raise issues proactively to minimize quality risks and operational disruptions.

Delivery & Warehouse Operations

- Coordinate receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities to meet customer requirements.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory control practices.
- Ensure material movement and storage processes optimize warehouse capacity and efficiency.
- Operate or direct the operation of warehouse equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor workflow and prioritize activities to meet business objectives and customer expectations.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, material flow, productivity, and employee development.
- Support implementation of process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while supporting operator care and maintenance activities.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
