About this role
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating and collaborating with senior leaders on client management and strategic business development for water resources engineering services within Western Missouri and Kansas.
- Driving efforts to expand the water resources engineering services in the region.
- Pursuing new business opportunities through relationships, professional organizations, etc.
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for junior staff.
- Generating project proposals and participating in project interviews in coordination with marketing staff and senior leadership.
- Serving as a project manager on a variety of water resources projects.
- Developing project goals, scopes of work, and budgets to guide project activities.
- Producing high-quality deliverables and providing QC/QA.
- Keeping abreast of emerging trends in the industry.
- As opportunities and demands present themselves, this role may perform other responsibilities related to the position.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a closely related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri and/or Kansas
- Extensive water resources engineering experience with a proven ability to lead projects and consistently deliver high-quality results
- Strong interest in driving client engagement and pursuing new business opportunities
- Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills
- Valid Driver's License
