Maintenance Technician II – Full-Time
Tuesday–Saturday | 9:30 AM–6:00 PM | $24/hour

Monarch Landing is looking for a hospitality-minded Maintenance Technician II to join our team. In this role, you’ll help keep our community, equipment, and systems safe, functional, and well-maintained for our residents and team members.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine and emergency repairs, including minor electrical repairs, plumbing, light fixtures and bulbs, appliances, medical equipment, doors, locks, and other building-related needs.
- Assist with servicing and maintaining HVAC systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls involving system or equipment failures.
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, equipment, and vehicles.
- Assist with snow removal and other seasonal maintenance needs.
- Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical schooling or at least one year of experience in residential maintenance, apartment maintenance, commercial building maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- HVAC experience preferred.
- Valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- A customer-service mindset and willingness to interact professionally with residents, families, guests, and team members.
