WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

- Load raw material into press in a prescribed manner paying attention to distribution of material for an even flow until mold cavities are filled
- Responsible for the processes in the Operations chain, including safety, quality, production and material handling.

- Monitor press operation to make certain lubrication, temperature, tonnage and cycle times meet operating specifications for each product.

- Maintain a clean organized work area disposing of waste and trash to assigned areas.

- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area paying attention to oil, cured scrap, water and other foreign matter that could contaminate product before or after curing

- Maintain accurate production and quality records

- Remove trim and inspect molded parts for defects

- Must be available to work overtime when required

- Other duties as required by supervisor

YOU HAVE:

- High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 5+ years if experience

- Manual dexterity commensurate to quickly unload and reload the parts from press

- Stand for at least 8 hours at a time

- Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds

- Eyesight commensurate to visually inspect parts

- Ability to work with high temperature (120F) equipment and high machinery noise level using proper PPE.
- Sets up, adjusts and operates machinery such as oven, balancing machine, dake press, manual and power operated hand tools as required.
