The Shipping Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, packaging, and shipment of finished goods and materials. This position supports warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring customer orders are processed correctly, inventory transactions are completed accurately, and shipments are delivered according to established schedules. The Shipping Associate works closely with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
What You Will Experience in This Position
Shipping Operations
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Verify product quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Generate BOLs
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers and transportation providers.
- Process shipping transactions using warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Maintain compliance with customer, carrier, and company shipping requirements.
- Process shipments using customer portals
- Receive incoming materials into the MRP system.
- Receive, track, and process customer returns (RGA).
- Transfer received materials to the appropriate physical locations and update inventory in the MRP system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment using 5S principles.
- Communicate with the Operation team mananager regarding any issues that arise during the shipping process.
- Coordinate with production leads to support shipping and material requirements.
- Assist with cycle counting activities as assigned.
- Assist with material handling and warehouse operations as needed.
Inventory & Material Handling
- Move materials and finished goods throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Support cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Report shortages, damages, and inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials within the warehouse.
You Have
· Be able to work overtime during the week and on weekend when necessary
· Communicate with internal and external customers
· Willing to learn Lean processes and practices
· Be able to read/write in English
· Be able to use Microsoft Office (ie.. Excel)
· Have at least 4 years’ experience in a shipping environment
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.
- Use of required PPE and adherence to all safety guidelines.

This position is temporary for three months. The need for the role will be evaluated after the three-month period. Based on business needs, at the end of those three months, the employee will return to their original position.
