Job Description:
Pitney Bowes is hiring for a full-time Operations Data Analyst at our Arlington, TX presort facility.
Join our team and earn $68,000 - $75,000 / annually. As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year.

Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm

You will:
In this role, you will join our Presort Services Team. You will be responsible for:
- Import/Export data daily as required
- Perform daily paperwork/upload into USPS system for all mailings
- Perform daily analyses of Air Tray volumes and communicate the expected volumes to the proper USPS Representatives and management team members
- Perform daily analyses of mailing data within the Prolink Hosts
- Communicate daily analyses of data to/from other MX sites as required
- Work with Operations and Client Services to identify and resolve discrepancies that will ensure client billing is not negatively impacted
- Recommends/develops, and calculates, various metrics to measure site performance
- Provides weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual metric readouts for various areas of the business
- Assists in researching and explaining deviations from trends
- Develop, prepare, and interpret analyses around profitability, postage analysis, productivity metrics and various projects
- Monitor/communicate/analyze costs on all production supplies needed to ensure proper flow of the business (i.e., Postal sleeves, shrink wrap, labels, etc)
- Provide ad hoc analyses and/or research issues as requested by company management
- Other duties as assigned by management
Your background:
As an Operations Data Analyst, you have:
- Strong computer skills
- Advanced proficiency of Excel required
- Strong analytical skills are required to see deviations from "normal" operational trends and financial statements
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and work effectively under the pressure of deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate both, verbal, and written, in a one-on-one setting, or, small group situations, with management, clients, and vendors
- Proficiency with business acumen in these areas; data analysis, metrics/KPI’s, operational standards
- Candidate must be proficient in the English language to follow safety, security, and other operational directions, irrespective of their native language
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary tools and procedures utilized in the everyday business
Our Team:
Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS®. For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them. Our national network of operating centers processes over 17 billion pieces of mail annually. We provide mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick-up at their location into delivery into the postal system network, providing optimal postage savings.
