Mission Risk Analyst

As a mission risk analyst, you’ll bring your analytical expertise to work on projects for the Department of War. You’ll research the efficacy of adversary capabilities against current and future defense portfolios and support senior leader decision forums. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and mission risks to help quantify investment tradeoffs.

You’ll guide the work we do for the Department of War and the solutions we deliver for capability development and acquisition planning. Further your career with us as you help solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems for the warfighter.

You Have:

- 7+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- Experience coordinating and leading meetings, both pre-planned and short notice
- Experience with mission and OPLAN decomposition into tasks to define mission level risk impact
- Ability to communicate with government clients, contractors, and mission partners to convey ideas and concepts
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a varied team of engineers, defense and intelligence analysts, scientists, and uniformed military members
- Ability to plan, conduct, and analyze research to mission risk assessments
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

- Experience writing and reviewing senior-level DoD and Joint Staff correspondence
- Experience in intelligence analysis and developing adversary capability assessments or scenarios
- Experience working across stakeholder groups to achieve a common goal
- Experience with risk management principles
- Experience with Cyber Risk Mitigation
- Experience serving on DoD staff and interacting with senior leaders
- Experience leading teams to meet timelines and deliverables
- Experience in Weapon Systems analysis or mission thread analysis

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
