Job Description

HHS is seeking a results-driven EVS Night Director to lead environmental services operations across Multiple small locations. This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment and team members while providing strong leadership and maintaining high standards of service.

The EVS Night Director will oversee a team of 5 full-time employees (FTEs) and will be responsible for maintaining consistent cleaning standards across multiple locations.

Salary: $65,000 annually

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage EVS operations across 34 small healthcare locations
- Supervise, coach, train, and develop a team of 5 FTEs
- Provide leadership that promotes teamwork, accountability, morale, quality, and respect
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met
- Maintain and improve patient, customer, and facility satisfaction
- Manage employee assignments, schedules, training, and performance
- Coach and counsel team members as needed and address performance concerns promptly
- Monitor cleaning processes and ensure all locations meet HHS quality standards
- Collaborate with facility and company leadership to achieve operational goals
- Analyze operational data and make adjustments to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency
- Monitor supply usage, labor, budgets, and overall operational performance
- Maintain and monitor quality control systems
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Travel between assigned locations as needed to provide leadership and support
- Respond to operational needs during the night shift

Required Qualifications

- Must have prior housekeeping or Environmental Services management experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing salaried and/or hourly employees
- Experience leading housekeeping, EVS, custodial, healthcare, hospitality, or similar service operations
- Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software
- Ability to work a night schedule and maintain flexibility based on operational needs
- Willingness to travel between assigned locations
- Must be willing to relocate for future promotion opportunities

Not Required But a Big Plus

- Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish
- Healthcare EVS experience
- Experience working across multiple facilities
- Familiarity with OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements
- Military or veteran leadership experience
