As the Supply Management Specialist, you are an expert in military food service and field feeding operations, your deep technical background enables you to shape modernization, enhance readiness, and strengthen operational feeding capabilities across the force. You will provide high-level guidance to installation leadership, major commands, and service agencies across the theater army area of responsibility and beyond. You will support lifecycle management, oversee modernization initiatives, and help integrate the Army Field Feeding System into emerging doctrine, planning, and operations. You will assess facilities and equipment, evaluate processes, and prepare recommendations that improve efficiency, quality, and compliance. Your work will directly influence operational planning, sustainment supportability, and long-range capability development in Army food service and field feeding.

You Have:

- Experience in Army food service operations, including dining facility management, field feeding operations, ration management, personnel development, and coordinating the procurement, storage, preparation, distribution, and accountability of food within complex operational environments
- Experience supporting joint, combined, or multinational sustainment operations
- Experience managing installation-level food programs or serving in senior food service technical roles such as Food Program Manager or a major command Food Advisor while coordinating with preventive medicine, veterinary, and nutrition personnel on compliance, sanitation, and menu testing
- Ability to advise senior commanders and major commands on force modernization, logistics, personnel management, and subsistence support
- Ability to conduct technical surveys of facilities, equipment, sanitation procedures, personnel performance, and feeding operations, as well as prepare executive-level reports, assessments, and briefings for senior military audiences
- Ability to work independently within broad guidance, collaborate in matrix organizations, and guide multiple stakeholders toward shared solutions
- Ability to clearly convey technical information and operational recommendations
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

- Experience advising appropriated fund food service organizations
- Experience planning or delivering installation-level training programs for Soldiers and civilians
- Experience identifying facility or equipment deficiencies and drafting corrective action recommendations
- Experience developing professional development pathways for food service personnel
- Knowledge of the Army Field Feeding System modernization efforts, equipment fielding, and lifecycle management
- Knowledge of Army or DoD sustainment policy, acquisition processes, and technical oversight structures
- Possession of excellent communication skills
- Completion of Warrant Officer Advanced Course 922A or equivalent senior-level food service qualification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
