Job Description
As Enterprise Technology Lead, Senior Manager, you will provide strategic and technical leadership for Kite’s cell order management and supply chain technology landscape, while serving as a trusted technology partner to business stakeholders. You will translate business priorities into scalable, reliable, and compliant technology solutions, champion cross-functional collaboration, and ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value while supporting regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Lead a team of onshore and offshore functional/technical analysts. Establish the support model and performance management with the system integration partner, manage resource allocations, define technical standards, and be the primary point of escalation.
This role will serve as the local technical lead for critical incidents affecting patient treatment, supply chain logistics, chain of custody/identify, labeling support issues, and other time-sensitive operations.

The Team
You will be an integral and highly visible part of Kite’s global IT team. Your efforts will support the definition of a global IT strategy and accompanying roadmap for Kite’s mission of treating and curing cancer with cell therapy.
Essential Duties and Job Functions
General responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Build trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and Patient Operations; understand their priorities and translate business needs into technology strategies, roadmaps, and executable solutions.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across business, IT, vendors, and support organizations by facilitating decisions, clarifying priorities and trade-offs, and driving issues through resolution to achieve successful business outcomes.
- Serve as the technical authority for Kite Konnect Enterprise and Supply Chain architecture, integrations, APIs, customizations, interfaces, and data management solutions, ensuring designs are scalable, supportable, reliable, and aligned with Gilead architecture standards.
- Own the Kite Konnect Enterprise and Supply Chain IT business capability roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders, balancing operational needs, compliance requirements, technical modernization, and strategic growth initiatives.Oversee Kite Konnect Enterprise and Supply Chain IT release planning, SDLC governance, environment management, deployment readiness, testing strategies, change management, patching, upgrades, and rollback procedures to ensure safe and effective delivery of system changes.
- Own the health, stability, performance, and operational resilience of Kite Konnect Enterprise and Supply Chain platforms and integrations, including incident response, root cause analysis, corrective actions, service metrics, monitoring, and support governance.
- Lead integration and data-related activities across Oracle EBS, SAP, Salesforce, and downstream applications, including reliability, error handling, interoperability, data quality, migration, reconciliation, and master data governance.
- Provide directions to managed service providers, implementation partners, and support teams; manage priorities, backlog, resource planning, service delivery performance, SLAs, and partner accountability.
- Communicate system health, risks, incidents, project status, recommendations, and operational trends to leadership, business partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in IT OR
- Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years relevant experience in IT
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- 10+ years of experience supporting ERP platforms, including Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and related applications.
- 5+ years of experience leading digital operations, technical delivery, production support, or managed service teams in a complex global environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, develop a strong understanding of operational priorities, and influence technology decisions as a strategic advisor.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technology strategy, architecture, and delivery decisions to operational outcomes, patient impact, risk reduction, and measurable business value.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, finance, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, warehouse management, and related life sciences business processes.
- Hands-on experience with migration, integration, and application delivery across platforms such as: Oracle EBS, SAP, Salesforce, Veeva, Sitecore, and downstream related systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of middleware platforms, APIs, web services, event-driven integrations, integration patterns, data transformation, reconciliation, data quality, and master data management.
- Experience with digital operations and support governance, including incident and problem management, ITIL service management, monitoring, operational reporting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, change and release management, environment management, and risk mitigation.
- Proven ability to lead solution design reviews, establish technical standards, oversee SDLC delivery, manage third-party vendors and global delivery partners, and drive outcomes in a matrixed organization.
- Strong systems thinking, analytical problem-solving, communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, influencing, project/portfolio management, ownership, accountability, and operational rigor.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and communicate complex technology considerations, risks, options, and recommendations in clear business terms across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Significant relevant experience in commercial life science, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated environment preferred; occasional travel to Kite/Gilead locations may be required.

The salary range for this position is: $153,935.00 - $199,210.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
