Job Description
An established consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to provide daily support to engineering leadership and project teams. This position plays a critical role in coordinating project documentation, tracking project progress, maintaining schedules, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of deliverables. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced engineering environment. This role supports supervisors and project managers through a combination of project coordination, document control, quality review, administrative support, and engineering project tracking. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, and the ability to manage data-intensive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative and project support to engineering leadership and project teams.
- Coordinate project documentation, deliverables, and schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize Bluebeam Revu to assist with redlines, document markups, revisions, and drawing management.
- Maintain project logs, trackers, and status reports to ensure accurate project information and visibility.
- Assist with specification updates and document formatting in accordance with project requirements.
- Review reports, drawings, and project documents for completeness, consistency, and quality control.
- Assemble project documentation packages and support report preparation efforts.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, calendars, meetings, and other administrative activities for supervisors and team leads.
- Track equipment requests, purchases, and inventory needs for project teams.
- Review and process expense reports while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Support commissioning and engineering teams with documentation management and project record keeping.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather information and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems and document control procedures.
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in project administration, project coordination, document control, or administrative support within an engineering, construction, architecture, or consulting environment.
- Experience using Bluebeam Revu for document review, markups, and redline management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience managing project logs, trackers, schedules, and document-control processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders and project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting MEP, commissioning, engineering, construction, or design-related projects.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience with project management or document management platforms.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
