About this role
The Project Procurement Manager I will lead a project procurement team, ensuring procurement activities comply with SOP’s and project/department processes. Responsible for full life-cycle procurement including vendor management, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and coordination with engineering, project management, and construction teams. This job will lead the negotiation of final contract terms, commercial pricing, and delivery schedules across all applicable procurement categories while exercising primary commercial authority in supplier negotiations to secure optimal value, risk allocation, and compliance with project objectives
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field
- Applicants are permitted to substitute bachelor’s degree for 10 years of additional related procurement experience.
Experience:
- 5 years of related Procurement experience.
Preferred:
- Fifth year college or university for professional certification
- 10 years of related experience
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This will include direct supervision of 3 or more full-time employees.
Knowledge, Abilities and Experience:
- Knowledge of data entry accuracy.
- Skill in accuracy, oral communication, interpersonal communication.
- Ability to utilize a computer.
