YOUR IMPACT
Senior Client Managers at OpenText are part of a global team of highly skilled and entrepreneurial professionals who understand that their clients are experiencing unprecedented change. Your clients trust you to help solve their most pressing business challenges and support them on their digital transformation journey.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and strengthening strategic relationships within assigned accounts by protecting and growing OpenText revenue. You will promote OpenText's solutions, support, and services capabilities. Through formal and informal engagement activities, you will market our capabilities to existing clients with a view to securing strategic enterprise agreements and driving high-touch client interactions at all levels.
As the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts, you will work closely with Sales, Services, Support, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term success.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Sell the value of OpenText services and support programs while driving retention and expansion through relationship development with stakeholders from manager level through the C-suite.
- Quote, establish regular outreach cadences, position upsell opportunities, conduct proactive follow-up, and close renewals before expiration.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts and the broader internal and external landscape.
- Develop a strong understanding of product roadmaps and communicate relevant information to both internal teams and clients.
- Manage client escalations in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Lead and participate in onsite client meetings
YOU ARE GRET AT:
- Developing and maintaining post-sales relationships with enterprise clients to drive renewal and expansion opportunities.
- Negotiating with stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.
- Managing, supporting, and growing an assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Operating independently with minimal supervision and strong decision-making ability.
- Achieving and exceeding revenue objectives within assigned accounts.
- Managing client escalations and driving positive outcomes.
- Account planning, forecasting, and strategic relationship management.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 3-5+ years of experience in an enterprise-level, client-facing role within Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or a related field (enterprise software experience is an asset).
- An innovative and creative approach to solving complex business challenges.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with all levels of an organization, including executive leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and functions to achieve results.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.

As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.
Salary Range: $63,440 - $95,160; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
