Experienced Caregiver / CNA – West Bloomfield, MI

Pay: $18–$20 per hour | Specialized In-Home Care

CareOne Senior Care is seeking an experienced and dependable caregiver or CNA to provide specialized in-home care for a bedbound client in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

This assignment requires hands-on caregiving experience, including the use of a Hoyer lift, tube feeding, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), and range-of-motion exercises.

We are looking for a compassionate professional who understands the importance of following an individualized care plan, maintaining client safety, and providing respectful, consistent support.

Candidates must have experience with Hoyer lifts, tube feeding, and hands-on personal care to be considered for this assignment.

Position Details

- Location: West Bloomfield, MI
- Position: Experienced Caregiver / CNA
- Shift Times:  8a-8p, 10a-8p and 8p-8a 
- Pay Rate: $18–$20 per hour
- Client Needs: Bedbound client requiring specialized hands-on care
- Employment Type: Part-time or full-time opportunities, depending on scheduling needs
- Experience Required: Hoyer lift, tube feeding, ADLs, and range-of-motion exercises

Job Responsibilities

The caregiver will provide individualized assistance based on the client's care plan. Responsibilities may include:

- Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Safely assisting with transfers and repositioning using a Hoyer lift
- Providing tube-feeding assistance according to the established care plan and the caregiver's authorized training
- Performing prescribed range-of-motion exercises according to care instructions
- Assisting with bed positioning and comfort
- Monitoring the client's comfort and observing changes in condition
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with meal-related needs as appropriate to the care plan
- Completing required shift documentation
- Communicating concerns and important updates to the office and care team
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- At least 18 years of age
- Previous hands-on caregiving experience
- Experience using a Hoyer lift
- Experience assisting with tube feeding
- Experience providing personal care and ADL assistance
- Experience with range-of-motion exercises
- Ability to follow the client's care plan and safety procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to complete the required background screening
- Current TB test or willingness to obtain one before employment begins

A valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration are required for assignments involving client transportation.
