Position Details

- Position: Part-Time In-Home Caregiver
- Location: Clarkston, MI
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Schedule: 2 days per week
- Shift Length: Approximately 2 hours per visit
- Total Hours: Approximately 4 hours per week
- Pay: $15–$17 per hour
- Primary Duties: Companionship and feeding assistance
- Schedule: Consistent weekly schedule based on the client's care needs

What You’ll Do

As a caregiver, you will help support the client with their day-to-day needs while providing companionship and a friendly presence.

Responsibilities may include:

- Provide friendly companionship and conversation.
- Assist with feeding as needed and according to the client's care plan.
- Encourage and participate in simple, appropriate activities with the client.
- Help create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment.
- Follow the client's individualized care plan and all caregiver instructions.
- Respect the client's privacy, dignity, preferences, and routines.
- Observe and report any changes or concerns regarding the client's condition or needs.
- Communicate appropriately with the CareOne Senior Care office regarding the client's care.
- Complete required shift documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow all CareOne Senior Care policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with the client and their family.

What We’re Looking For

The right caregiver will be someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and understands the importance of being dependable when caring for a client.

Qualifications include:

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Patient, compassionate, and respectful.
- Comfortable providing companionship and feeding assistance.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Able to follow a client's care plan and instructions.
- Comfortable working independently in a client's home.
- Must successfully complete the required background screening.
- Must have a current TB test or be willing to obtain one as required.
- Must be willing to complete required onboarding and training.

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but may not be required , depending on the client's needs and the applicant's qualifications. We are looking for someone who is responsible, caring, willing to learn, and committed to providing quality care.

Pay & Benefits
