Job Summary
The Regional Ground Handling Trainer delivers company, regulatory, and carrier training to new-hire and tenured employees, developing training plans and assessing skill gaps to ensure consistent, compliant programs. This role maintains training records, ensures safety compliance, and serves as the primary liaison for airline customer training programs - auditing compliance, coordinating SLA discussions, and reporting on training outcomes.

Compensation Rate: Dependent On Experience (DOE)
City & Airport: Remote - Must reside near a major commercial U.S. airport
Responsibilities
- Provides company, regulatory, carrier, or practical training for individual or group settings to new hires as well as tenured employees
- Creates milestones to be achieved through training methods and creates training plans.
- Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, and changes in training policy and procedure.
- Observes employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to the supervisor and Safety Manager.s
- Maintains training rosters and records with trainees and complies with appropriate training and recordkeeping requirements.
- Interacts with our airline customer training leadership programs to make sure we are compliant with customer training programs.
- Conducts audits of customer-specific training and compares to WFS expected training requirements.
- Coordinates weekly service level agreement discussions with WFS leadership responsible for specific customer leadership teams.
- Coordinates reporting and weekly reviews of customer-specific training compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at a variety of management levels, identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies in a global environment
- 2 years in ground Handling or Passenger Service/Ramp Training
- SAL Certified
- Currently or previously TTT Certified with at least one commercial airline
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
Preferred Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use a computer and applicable MS office software.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision and alone or as part of a dynamic team.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects for up to 2 hours per day
