Summary:

The Warehouse Team Member establishes and maintains the organization of the Food & Beverage warehouse, receives deliveries and distributes product throughout the facility to Food & Beverage sales areas.

Pay is $18.11/hr as dictated by union contract. Benefits include Paid Leave, flexible scheduling, 401k.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Comply with health department standards.

- Transport food, beverages, paper products, supplies, equipment, and other Food & Beverage materials from the warehouse to designated venue locations.
- Deliver products and equipment to concession stands, bars, kitchens, catering areas, suites, theater locations, arena locations, and convention spaces.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of Food & Beverage operations for concerts, sporting events, theater productions, conventions, banquets, and other large-scale events.
- Stage food, beverage, and service supplies in designated locations according to event requirements and production schedules.
- Assist with the movement of portable bars, concession equipment, coolers, tables, carts, shelving, and other operational equipment.
- Transport product and supplies between the warehouse, back-of-house areas, kitchens, concessions, bars, and event spaces as needed.
- Assist with the replenishment of concessions and bar locations during events.
- Monitor inventory levels in assigned areas and communicate replenishment needs to the Warehouse Manager or appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with receiving, unloading, organizing, and storing deliveries when needed.
- Ensure products are handled and transported in a manner that protects quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, temperature-control, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of warehouse and storage areas.
- Return unused product, equipment, supplies, and service items to the appropriate storage locations following events.
- Assist with event-specific inventory counts and product movement documentation.
- Maintain accurate communication regarding product deliveries, shortages, damaged items, and equipment needs.
- Operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other approved material-handling equipment safely.
- Follow all venue safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
- Maintain clear and safe pathways while transporting products and equipment throughout the facility.
- Work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced event environments while meeting established delivery timelines.

- Always maintains a professional appearance.
- Arrives at work in uniform on time as scheduled.
- Follows instructions of supervisors and managers.
- Interacts with patrons and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accommodates patron requests in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position reports Directly to the Warehouse Manager.

- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age to apply.

Education and / or Experience:

- Current ServSafe certification required.

Skill and Abilities:

- English fluency, written and verbal.

- Computer Skills: Ability to use an electronic timeclock for recording hours worked.

- Other Qualifications: Must have reliable transportation.

Ability to navigate through the entire Peoria Civic Center facility as required, including using stairs, sloped surfaces, narrow passageways, elevators, in varied lighting conditions.
