What you’ll be doing
As a member of CIBC Wood Gundy, you will be responsible for building and growing Wood Gundy client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice and exceptional client service. As the Manager of Client Support, you will apply advanced knowledge to set the overall direction for employees, ensuring consistency in execution and accountability. You will focus on creating a positive work environment and being an effective role model by championing CIBC’s mission, vision, and values, working closely with the business to ensure client needs and business goals are met. The role exercises independent judgement within defined policies and procedures, contributing to the development and implementation of quality and improved service delivery to clients. In addition, you will identify and lead opportunities to enhance employees’ productivity and operational processes.

How you’ll succeed
- Operational Support - Assist in creating comprehensive reporting capabilities that will enable Operations to effectively track its service targets and achievements. Continually search for improvements in workflows, processes, and data/reporting management. Ensure prompt and accurate reporting to Senior Management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Onboarding Support - Oversee and manage all aspects of onboarding new hires working closely with ASMs and RDs in each region. Oversee and manage all aspects of terminating existing employees working closely with ASMs and RDs in each region. Act as the primary CIBC contact for all matters related to Call Me Later referral leads, Business Referral Program, Partner Rewards Plan, and the Power Points Program.
- People Leadership - Lead and coach a high performing team of Leaders. Provide meaningful development opportunities for employees and advocate for CIBC within the community to recruit employees who share and demonstrate our values.
