About this role

The Marketing Analytics & Insights Specialist is responsible for identifying, gathering, analyzing, and translating market information into actionable recommendations that support growth across Latin America. This role focuses on understanding market trends, industry developments, customer needs, competitive dynamics, economic and regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities that can help Avient prioritize markets, applications, and solutions.

This is not a traditional marketing communications or campaign execution role. Its primary focus is market data analysis and the conversion of complex information into practical insights that can be understood and used by commercial leaders and other internal stakeholders.

Education

- Completed bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Candidates with a Marketing background must demonstrate practical exposure to data analysis. Candidates from business or quantitative fields must demonstrate experience applying data to market or business questions.

Experience

- Approximately 2 to 3 years of experience in market research, marketing analytics, business analytics, competitive intelligence, commercial strategy, or a related field.
- Practical experience analyzing market data, identifying reliable information sources, and translating findings into business or commercial recommendations.
- Experience supporting growth strategy, strategic planning, market development, or business development initiatives.
- Experience in an industrial B2B environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

- Advanced Excel and experience with Power BI or another data visualization tool.
- Knowledge of market research, competitive intelligence, market sizing, trend analysis, and forecasting methodologies.
- Ability to develop business presentations and communicate insights through data storytelling.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform is preferred.

Languages & Scope

- Spanish and English required; Portuguese preferred.
- Regional responsibility across Latin America.
- Based in Toluca, Mexico, with regular regional and corporate interaction.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
