Were looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a collaborative HR and recruiting team in Greenwood Village, Colorado . This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of Talent Acquisition, recruiting support, or HR operations experience who enjoys being the person behind the scenes keeping the entire hiring process moving. Youll work closely with a team of four full-time recruiters , hiring managers, candidates, and HR partners while supporting everything from job requisitions and interview coordination to onboarding, employee records, compliance, and recruiting technology. This is a 4-month contract-to-hire opportunity , so there is real potential for the right person to grow with the organization.

## 💼 What You'll Be Doing
### 🔎 Talent Acquisition Operations
You'll help keep the recruiting engine running smoothly from the moment a position opens through the hiring and onboarding process.
- Coordinate recruiting workflows through UKG Recruiting and related talent acquisition systems
- Process and manage job requisitions, postings, candidate workflows, and offer requests
- Maintain complete and accurate candidate records
- Manage recruiting platforms and subscriptions, including UKG Recruiting, Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, and other sourcing tools
- Monitor the Talent Acquisition shared email inbox
- Generate recruiting reports and metrics as requested
- Keep recruiting workflows organized and moving forward without needing constant follow-up
💬 Candidate Experience & Interview Coordination
Creating a positive candidate experience will be a huge part of this role.
- Coordinate interviews and scheduling logistics for candidates and hiring teams
- Serve as a key point of contact throughout the recruiting process
- Make sure candidates receive professional, timely, and engaging communication
- Assist with offer preparation and pre-employment activities
- Help create a smooth experience from application through onboarding
🎉 Pre-Employment & Onboarding
Once the offer is accepted, you'll help make sure everything is ready for a successful first day.
- Coordinate BG checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements
- Monitor screening results and provide timely updates to recruiters and hiring managers
- Administer new hire onboarding, including: Offer letter processing
- New hire paperwork
- I-9/E-Verify completion
- System setup coordination
- Act as a resource for new hires during their first days and weeks
- Assist with pre-employment and onboarding documentation
- Support offboarding processes for departing employees, including exit paperwork, system deactivation requests, and final documentation
👥 HR Operations & Employee Support
This role isn't limited to recruiting. You'll also gain hands-on exposure to broader HR operations.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS
- Process new hires, transfers, status changes, and terminations
- Process employee data changes and maintain data integrity across HR systems
- Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries in partnership with the benefits team
- Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Assist with unemployment claims and verification of employment requests
- Support leave-of-absence administration and tracking
- Maintain organized and compliant electronic and physical personnel files
🎓 Employer Branding & University Recruiting
You'll also have opportunities to support initiatives designed to attract future talent.
- Support employer branding efforts across recruiting and social media platforms
- Help promote the organization as an employer of choice
- Support career fairs, networking events, university partnerships, and recruiting programs
- Coordinate recruiting materials, event logistics, and candidate communications
Compliance & Process Management
Attention to detail matters here. You'll help ensure recruiting and HR records remain compliant with applicable employment laws and internal policies while supporting:

- Record retention
- Recruiting and HR documentation
- HR-related audits and compliance reviews
- Continuous improvement of recruiting and HR operational processes
🎯 What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or supporting recruiting
- Associate degree
- Hands-on experience with UKG , either ATS or HRIS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and consistently follow through
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience supporting multi-state recruiting and/or HR operations
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake , or similar recruiting platforms
- Experience with HRIS platforms and general HR administration
- Experience with benefits, onboarding/offboarding, or employee records
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting/HR compliance
- Experience supporting employer branding
- University or campus recruiting experience

📍 Location: Greenwood Village, CO 80111 💼 Type: 4-month Contract-to-Hire 🏢 Initial Schedule: Onsite 💰 Pay: $25.00$31.25/hour The position will begin onsite for training . After approximately 6 months , there is potential to transition to a hybrid schedule with 12 remote days per week , depending on the individual and business needs. The team is together in the office on Wednesdays , while the other in-office days may offer some flexibility.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.25/hr.
