Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support electronics manufacturing operations with a focus on circuit card assembly (CCA) and thru-hole manufacturing processes . In this role, you will work directly with the manufacturing floor to evaluate how electronic assemblies are being built, identify opportunities to improve the process, and implement changes that increase quality, efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness . This is a hands-on manufacturing engineering position involving process development, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and production support.

What Youll Be Doing

- Analyze and optimize CCA and module manufacturing processes , particularly thru-hole assembly
- Identify and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing process documentation
- Support the design and specification of manufacturing fixtures and stencils
- Conduct experiments and process trials to validate improvements before implementation
- Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement process changes
- Support manufacturing equipment and processes, including equipment maintenance and repair efforts
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and training to production personnel

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree required
- Level III experience requirement: 915 years of experience with a bachelors degree , or 713 years with a masters degree
- Experience with manufacturing process development, implementation, and process improvement
- Experience supporting a production/manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement and manufacturing engineering principles
- Electronics manufacturing, CCA, thru-hole, Lean, and/or Six Sigma experience is highly relevant

- Contract: 52 weeks with opportunity for direct hire

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $56.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
