Warehouse & Fulfillment Specialist
Pay Range: $22.00 – $23.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Work Environment: Fast-Paced | High Attention to Detail
About the Role
Are you a hard worker who takes immense pride in doing the job right? Our client is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse & Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. In this fast-paced environment, every detail matters—from meticulously packing orders to keeping the inventory organized. If you bring a "can-do" positive attitude, thrive on taking initiative, and take pride in exceptional work quality, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment (Pick, Pack & Ship) Accurately pick, pack, and prepare single and multi-piece orders to ensure items arrive in perfect condition without shifting or damage during transit. Maintain strict attention to detail so customers receive exact items ordered, applying branded re-order labels, packing slip sleeves, and shipping labels square to edges for a uniform, professional finish. Prepare and inspect outgoing LTL/truck shipments, verifying order accuracy, removing 3rd party labels, stacking pallets securely with corner protectors, applying required pallet labeling, and generating BOLs in ShipHawk.
Receiving & Inventory Control Inspect, count, and label incoming purchase order truck shipments against invoices, immediately reporting any discrepancies or transit damages to the Stock Manager. Sign and receive POs in NetSuite upon thorough verification. Record daily non-fulfillment inventory changes (e.g., sample distribution, stock conversions) in the Inventory Adjustment Form and notify management.
Warehouse Maintenance & Upkeep Inspect stock upon arrival daily to backfill low picking slots, restock shipping materials, and pre-build boxes. Clean up, re-label, and repackage returned items into like-new condition. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse space, keeping racks faced, sample areas ordered, and sweeping floors after daily carrier pickups.
Qualifications & Requirements Detail-Oriented: High level of precision—you care deeply about order accuracy and high standards of product presentation. Proactive Mindset: A self-motivated "what's next?" personality who takes initiative during downtime. Positive attitude goes a long way. Punctual & Reliable: Strong commitment to consistent schedule attendance (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). Tech-Savvy / Systems Familiarity: Ability to learn and operate shipping and ERP software (experience with NetSuite or ShipHawk is a plus). Physical Capability: Ability to lift, stack, pull, wrap pallets, and remain active on your feet in a warehouse setting throughout the shift.
Work Culture & Expectations Professional Standards: Personal electronic devices and social media are reserved for designated breaks and lunch times. Team Communication: Shared music is welcome at respectful volumes (no explicit content) to foster a positive, collaborative environment.
