Reports to: F&B manager

Pay Range: $14 per hour

A Food Runner is responsible for delivering prepared food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately while supporting servers and maintaining a clean, organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly.
- Verify that each order is complete, accurate, and properly presented before leaving the kitchen.
- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management regarding special requests or missing items.
- Assist servers with clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
- Help restock plates, utensils, condiments, and other service supplies.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests when delivering food.
- Assist with other restaurant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful but not always required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry food trays or plates.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Physical Requirements

- Frequently standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and supplies.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced kitchen and dining environment.
