We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to support IT, Security and other Core Functions ( Finance , HR , Contracts , Strategy , etc.) and play a key role in driving sector-wide strategies that optimize performance, increase efficiency, and align with long-term business objectives. As a strategic Finance business partner, you will collaborate with key Functional leaders to develop and execute financial plans, drive transformational initiatives, and foster a culture of operational excellence.

This role is preferred to be performed in a hybrid remote work format , with the individual splitting their time between our office at 10 Tara Blvd, Nashua, NH, and remotely from an alternate work location. For the right individual, a full-time remote format may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Finance Business Partner : Serve as a trusted advisor to IT/Security and Core Functional leaders, providing financial guidance to optimize operational cost, throughput, and profitability.
- Financial Strategy Execution : Drive the development and execution of the financial strategy for IT/Security and Core Functions, including leading key transformational initiatives and ensuring effective resourcing.
- Finance Transformation : Lead efforts to enhance, automate, and analyze financial processes and systems to support IT/Security and Core Functions, driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Investment Decisions : Support key investment decisions, including capital expenditures, footprint optimization, and make-buy analysis, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management : Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to build and sustain best practices and operational excellence in support of IT/Security and Core Functions.
- Metrics, Reporting, and Communication : Establish and maintain standard metrics, reporting, and communication to support IT/Security and Core Functional Finance, ensuring timely and accurate information for stakeholders.
- Team Leadership : Lead and direct a team of Finance professionals, inspiring a high-performing team that embodies BAE Systems' behaviors and cultural principles.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on operations or business partnering.
- Proven track record of driving transformational change and improving financial performance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including Operations leaders and subject matter experts
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- MBA or Master's in related field preferred
- Business analytics and systems expertise
- Strong project management skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $157911 - $268449

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
