About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Coordinator to join our Kapuni team on a 12-month fixed-term opportunity. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing site. Working closely with production leaders and frontline teams, you'll help coordinate compliance activities, maintain critical plant documentation, support training processes, and provide administrative support that keeps the plant operating safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. No two days are quite the same. From coordinating document reviews and reporting, to supporting onboarding activities and training requirements, you'll be an important link between our people, processes, and systems. Key responsibilities include: • Coordinating SOP, HACCP and plant documentation reviews and updates • Maintaining document control processes in line with Fonterra standards • Supporting compliance, food safety and quality assurance activities • Monitoring and coordinating mandatory training requirements across the department • Assisting with training schedules, inductions and onboarding activities • Preparing reports and maintaining departmental records and data • Supporting production leaders with administrative coordination and department objectives • Working collaboratively with site teams to continually improve systems and processes This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to make a real contribution to a busy manufacturing environment. This is a 12-month fixed-term position working Monday to Thursday/Friday on dayshift. About You | Mōu You're someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys supporting others, and has a knack for keeping multiple priorities on track. You take ownership of your work, communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders, and have a strong eye for detail. Whether you're coordinating training, managing documentation, or supporting operational activities, you'll bring a practical and proactive approach to everything you do. We're looking for someone with: • Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment • Strong administrative, coordination and organisational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy • Experience working with Microsoft Office and business systems such as SAP and Power BI • Exposure to compliance, quality assurance, food safety or regulated environments • Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively • A commitment to health, safety, quality and continuous improvement Most importantly, you'll be a collaborative team player who enjoys working with people and contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture.
