We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to spearhead our self-serve digital platforms. In this role, you will be the product owner for both Mobile App and Web experiences, working collaboratively with solution managers, project managers, Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), other product owners, and business stakeholders. Your mission is to streamline access to Credit Card Services for Rogers Bank customers across web and mobile channels. These platforms are groundbreaking — we're establishing new IVR systems and digital platforms. Your role is pivotal in our digital journey — as we grow, you will be instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction, boosting operational efficiency, and shaping our long-term technology roadmap.
What you'll do:
- Lead the full lifecycle of self-serve platforms, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and a deep understanding of detailed requirements.
- Create impeccable Jira stories that capture the business need as well as the requirements to successfully deploy key capabilities across our digital platforms
- Manage the backlog, work on key projects, and ensure work is prioritized based on business need and ROI on an ongoing basis.
- Actively engage in the technical aspects of self-serve platform development, working in close partnership with IT and web development teams to deliver customer-centric and technologically robust solutions.
- Exhibit a strong technical acumen, understanding the intricacies of digital platform development, even though direct technical expertise is not a prerequisite.
- Collaborate effectively across departments, including Marketing, Sales, and Digital Marketing, to align platform functionalities with business strategies and customer experience goals.
- Define and closely monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure platform effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, with an eye for detail and technical performance.
- Consistently analyze platform performance with a technical lens, initiating improvements to enhance user experience and maintain high service standards.
- In partnership with our Compliance and Governance teams, ensure that products meet financial regulations and industry standards, and implement robust risk management strategies to safeguard platform integrity and customer data.
- In partnership with the project manager, ensure that programs adhere to budget, deliver on committed timelines, and have high-quality outputs, while managing changes and resource allocation to meet evolving project demands and business objectives.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in digital technology, telecommunications, and banking, leveraging these insights to keep Rogers Bank at the forefront of innovation.
What you bring:
- At least 5 years of experience in digital delivery of self-serve platforms, with a strong preference for backgrounds in financial services.
- Proven track record in leading sizable technology programs, integrating diverse elements like call center operations, marketing, regulatory compliance, privacy considerations, and technology.
- Demonstrated experience working within a PMO framework, showcasing strong analytical capabilities and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in managing teams using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to handle complex projects within an enterprise delivery model.
- Experience specifically in building new platforms that replace legacy systems, including expertise in requirements gathering, prioritization, and change management.
- Deep understanding of customer service principles, current technology trends, and product ownership, especially in the contexts of telecommunications and banking.
- Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving work environments, and agility in adjusting strategies and approaches as needed.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
- A strong alignment with our company’s values, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and cultivate an environment of openness and continuous learning
