Automation Engineer (Playwright & Mobile Automation) - 4+ Years Experience
## Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in test automation to design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript , experience with mobile automation across Android and iOS devices, and the ability to execute tests using BrowserStack or similar device farms . The candidate should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and committed to delivering high-quality automation solutions.
## Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing across web, Android, and iOS devices.
- Execute and manage automation suites using BrowserStack or other cloud-based device farms.
- Debug automation failures, analyze root causes, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support automated build and release processes.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify functional gaps.
- Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery of automation activities.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks and drive them independently to completion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript .
- Experience in mobile automation testing for Android and iOS platforms.
- Knowledge of executing Playwright automation scripts on mobile devices through BrowserStack or similar device farms.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub , Git commands, version control, and branching strategies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Ability to understand business requirements and proactively identify functional gaps and risks.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
