About the role: We are seeking a candidate who can manage Monthly/Quarterly/Annual GL close activities for UKG Consolidated Group. The role involves managing a wide range of accounting and financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. The position also encompasses handling various journal entries such as intercompany (ICO), cross-charges, accruals and reclasses, along with conducting balance sheet analysis including reconciliations to identify variances and ensure data integrity. The individual will also be responsible for managing footnote disclosures, audit deliverables, ad hoc financial statement analysis and reporting. This role also includes people management.

Key Responsibilities: -
• Responsible for supervision and review of assigned month-end deliverables and responsibilities in accordance with US GAAP;
• Responsible for various accounts including accruals, reclasses, intercompany adjustments, loan interest, cross charges etc;
• Prepare/Review non-recurring & recurring journal entries monthly, quarterly and annually;
• Reconciles/ Approve balance sheet accounts on a monthly and/or quarterly basis;
• Responsible for managing footnote disclosures, audit deliverables, ad hoc financial statement analysis and reporting;
• Maintain/improve existing internal controls. SOX experience is a plus; and
• Contribute to automations, AI and other org wide projects.

Required Qualifications
• Required Bachelor of Commerce/ Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant/ Chartered Accountant • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate accounting or 6+ years if qualified CA;
• People Management experience is required, as this role involves leading a small team of 2-4 people;
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred but not mandatory;
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and US GAAP;
• Excellent leadership and management skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge accounting software – Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus;
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Highly motivated, work collaboratively in a team, lead and sync with higher leadership and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
