About this role

Position Summary

The Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager, Infrastructure Operations support the Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Lead to manage and oversee IT infrastructure, multi-cloud services, Microsoft 365, and end-user support across headquarters, manufacturing sites, and overseas offices, ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

The role connects business users, internal IT teams, and vendors, while supporting procurement, asset lifecycle management, and continuous service improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Drive Global Infrastructure & Cloud: Architect and govern our multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You will manage capacity, control cloud costs, and ensure high availability for business-critical applications across all global sites.
- Manage the Digital Workplace: Oversee the full lifecycle of end-user computing. You will manage endpoint deployment, mobile devices, meeting-room tech, and resolve complex escalations with local teams and vendors.
- Ensure Security & Compliance: Act as the first line of defense. You will enforce access controls, manage vulnerabilities, execute IT audits, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and incident response protocols.
- Lead IT Operations & Procurement: Manage the business side of IT. You will oversee software/hardware procurement, vendor relationships, asset lifecycle management, and budget optimization.

The Tech Stack & Environment

- Cloud & Infrastructure: Multi-cloud platforms, enterprise networking, server and storage architecture.
- Microsoft 365 Ecosystem: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive.
- Identity & Endpoint Management: Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, mobile device management (MDM).

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations, systems administration, or end-user support in an multi-national enterprise environment.
- Hands-on administration of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Intune.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, endpoint management, networking, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL processes and tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
- Experience in managing 3 rd
party implementation & support services in an effective manner.
- Experience supporting IT audits and a practical understanding of information security controls, risk, compliance, and remediation tracking.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English, with the ability to support regional and overseas users.
- Relevant Microsoft 365, Endpoint Management, Enterprise Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, OCI), ITIL, infrastructure, or cybersecurity certification.
