Summary:

The Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Support Manager will oversee and actively contribute to the delivery of Indirect supplier risk and performance management services that strengthen resilience and compliance across global procurement. This role combines leadership with operational execution, managing a team responsible for supplier business continuity planning (BCP), risk management, segmentation, onboarding and performance reporting.

You will manage day-to-day team operations, monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, and resolve issues promptly to maintain service quality. A key responsibility is ensuring accurate supplier data, timely onboarding, and robust performance reporting to support governance and strategic reviews. You will collaborate closely with global CRA and Category Management teams to align activities with strategic objectives, maintain audit-ready documentation, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

- Lead and coach a team delivering supplier risk, performance and segmentation for Indirect Procurement
- Manage capacity and foster a high-performance culture
- Oversee execution of supplier onboarding, maintenance, BCP, segmentation updates, and performance reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, data integrity and compliance within purchasing systems and processes
- Partner with global CRA and Category Management teams to align service delivery with strategic objectives and customer expectations
- Provide accurate compliance and risk reporting to leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making
- Maintain accurate supplier data and audit-ready documentation for risk and performance activities
- Act as escalation point for supplier performance or compliance issues; ensure timely resolution and communication
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder experience
- Coach and mentor team members, building capability and engagement

Key Experiences and Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in compliance, risk or assurance and supplier management within procurement or supply chain functions
- Proven experience managing teams and delivering services against SLAs and KPIs
- Hands-on experience with supplier onboarding, segmentation and performance monitoring
- Understanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defence
- Experience working in aerospace or defence sector, in both Indirect and Direct Procurement
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., FAR/DFAR, ESG, anti-bribery, export controls)
- Experience leading transformation projects and driving process improvements
- Experience with procurement systems and reporting tools
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrix organisation
- Proven track record in delivering business results and achieving objectives
