About this role

Job Purpose/Objective:

The Lead Precut Inventory Control Clerk will monitor the team responsible for daily inventory count reconciliation, allocation, transfers, adjustments and repacks. Monitors finished product counts in the packaging area, incoming product counts, inventory and quality in precut warehouse locations for both warehouse 80 and 81. They will be responsible for communicating with Production Supervisors to ensure output count, lot, and pallet accuracy.

Essential Job Functions:

- Reconcile inventory counts between the physical and system, daily and end of month

- Run reports to identify and resolve inventory problems in coordination with the Production Manager.

- Communicates clearly with Production/Receiving/Purchasing personnel.

- Allocate product transfers, repacks, and inventory adjustments.

- Verify physical counts when discrepancies are discovered.

- Product line knowledge, finished, whole and Prep specialty.

- Directs bagging, sealing and boxing of all products coming out of the production room

Working Conditions/Job Environment:

- Degree of physical demands (strength) usually associated with this position is. Medium. Maximum of 50 Lbs.

- Environmental conditions (physical surroundings and hazards) are usually associated with this position: Constantly in the warehouse. Coordinate moving pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. Constantly standing in 34-degree conditions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

- Production Department Product Knowledge. Required to know the entire product line

- Basic Inventory management (1-2 years) in a distribution environment, preferably produce

- Counting, identification of size and type of produce.

- Self-motivated. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment, possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, and have strong project management and organizational skills.

- Electric Pallet Jack and Stand-Up Forklift Certified

Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Advanced Inventory management (3-5 years) in a produce distribution environment
Advanced Microsoft EXCEL and Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Intermediate Inventory Management Software Applications
Flexibility and adaptability to change in work assignments and priorities. Experience in inventory management, experience with process control improvements and analytical training. Bi-lingual (Spanish & English).
