About this role

About the job

In this job you will play a key role in developing the next generation of advanced semiconductor solutions, taking ideas from architecture and specification through transistor-level CMOS design, verification, and chip integration. Working across analog and mixed-signal domains, you will design innovative circuits and subsystems, contribute to system analysis and test strategies, and help shape design methodologies that drive product success.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in analog IC design, a deep understanding of CMOS technologies, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. Combining technical excellence, creativity, and collaboration, you will have the opportunity to influence cutting-edge products while working alongside highly skilled engineers in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

- Design and develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits at transistor level, ensuring robust functionality, power efficiency, and product reliability.
- Lead the design and implementation of analog and mixed-signal modules and subsystems, translating system requirements into optimized circuit solutions.
- Perform system analysis, define architectures and technical specifications, and drive the design, verification, and validation of analog and mixed-signal functions throughout the development cycle.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies and create test case definitions to ensure designs can be efficiently validated, characterized, and brought into production.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies, workflows, and engineering best practices to enhance development quality and efficiency.
- Integrate analog IP into larger chip-level designs, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless interaction between analog and digital domains.
- Support floorplanning and physical integration activities, helping optimize layout, performance, area utilization, and overall chip implementation.
- Create and maintain behavioral models using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Liberty to support digital design flows, system simulations, and early design verification.

Key Qualifications and personal skills
Y ou seek to understand technical challenges in depth, identify root causes and drive solutions through to completion. You are comfortable working independently and with others, and taking on challenges across a broad range of areas. You bring a strong technical background, creativity and a genuine interest in analog design.

- Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant science or engineering discipline
- Relevant industrial experience in integrated circuit design of analog and/or mixed signal circuits. We recruit at several levels and typically look for at least three years of industrial experience, with more extensive experience welcomed for senior-level positions
- A deep understanding of CMOS transistors and analog circuits
- A solid theoretical background and experience in designing analog and/or mixed signal circuits
- Strong independent problem-solving skills: you analyze, find the root cause and drive solutions to completion
- Demonstrable technical creativity and passion for developing innovative analog circuits
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent English (written and oral)
