About this role
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives and driving growth of SafeVision products and services through the inside sales channel. This role develops and expands relationships with customers, prospects, program administrators, employers, and dispensing partners through proactive outreach, consultative selling, account management, and exceptional customer service.
The Inside Sales Manager leverages phone, video conferencing, email, CRM tools, and digital engagement strategies to generate new business, increase account penetration, retain existing customers, and support the overall growth objectives of SafeVision. This position serves as a trusted advisor to customers by promoting SafeVision's branded products, programs, service capabilities, and industry expertise.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistent sales growth and achieve established revenue and performance targets.
- Manage and grow accounts through proactive outbound and inbound sales activities.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers and prospects to identify opportunities and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Leverage corporate tools (Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft Office, etc.) to plan, document, and monitor sales activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing communication to the National Sales Manager regarding results, pipeline development, customer needs, and strategic plans.
- Apply feedback from coaching sessions, performance reviews, and training initiatives to continuously improve performance.
- Support customer onboarding, program implementation, and customer retention initiatives.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, and customer records within Salesforce.
Planning:
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, opportunities, and sales performance to prioritize activities.
- Develop and execute strategic plans designed to maximize growth and customer engagement.
- Establish call plans, outreach campaigns, and follow-up activities to increase penetration.
- Collaborate with Customer Care, Business Operations, Marketing, and field sales teams to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Monitor competitive activity and market conditions and communicate insights to sales leadership.
- Manage priorities and resources to maximize return on sales efforts.
- Utilize reporting and analytics tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring corrective action
Account Planning:
- Maintain a deep understanding of each account's structure, needs, opportunities, and growth potential.
- Develop annual business plans for key accounts and strategic prospects.
- Regularly review account performance, pipeline activity, and growth initiatives with the National Sales Manager.
- Utilize analytical tools (Power BI, Excel, Salesforce.com, etc.) to evaluate performance and optimize sales efforts.
- Execute retention and expansion strategies within existing accounts.
Inside Sales & Business Development:
- Apply a consultative selling approach that supports long-term customer partnerships.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities through phone, email, video conferencing, and other digital engagement methods.
- Qualify leads and convert opportunities into active accounts.
- Present SafeVision products, services, and programs through virtual meetings and demonstrations.
- Educate customers on SafeVision's branded products, program features, and value propositions.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities that drive account growth.
- Collaborate with field sales and key account teams when opportunities require coordinated support.
Service:
- Anticipate and proactively address customer issues while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal support teams to resolve challenges promptly and professionally.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to strengthen relationships and improve retention.
- Participate in ongoing development through coaching, training programs, and organizational learning initiatives.
- Complete reporting, forecasting, training, and administrative requirements within designated timelines.

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience, preferably inside sales, account management, business development, or customer growth roles.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a sales pipeline.
- Strong computer proficiency (Salesforce.com, Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Demonstrated presentation and virtual selling skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience managing customer relationships through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management required.
- Minimal travel required (approximately 0-10%) for meetings, training, and company events as needed.
