About this role
The Client Administration Manager (CAM) is a key member of Savant's Accounting and Business Advisory— Client Administration team , responsible for delivering high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to clients. This role contributes to team performance, client satisfaction, and the ongoing execution of Savant's service standards and growth objectives.
This role leads the Client Administration function by overseeing team performance, capacity management, workflow execution, employee development, and operational consistency while ensuring administrative support services effectively support client service delivery, high-quality client experience and firm objectives.
In this role, you can expect to focus in the following areas:
Client Services / Client Experience
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality client experience across the Client Administration team.
- Support resolution of escalated client service and administrative issues.
- Partner with service line leaders to support client service objectives and administrative needs.
- Promote responsiveness, professionalism, and service excellence across administrative functions.
- Ensure administrative processes support efficient and positive client experience.
Administrative and Workflow Support
- Oversee workflow management, task completion, and administrative operations across the team.
- Monitor capacity utilization and workload distribution to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to firm workflows, procedures, documentation standards, and quality expectations.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks, operational risks, and process improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Operations and service-line leadership to support operational consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor key administrative performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.
- Support implementation of new systems, workflows, and operational initiatives.
Team & Operational Support
- Directly supervise Client Administration Specialists and Senior Client Administration Specialists.
- Conduct hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and development activities.
- Establish team goals, expectations, and accountability standards.
- Manage staffing needs, resource planning, and workload balancing.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and career development.
- Foster collaboration and consistency across offices and administrative functions.
- Support the firms M&A integration efforts by onboarding and transitioning acquired-firm administrative staff onto SABA client-service standards, coordinating with the centralized M&A Integration team and the Regional Director of Partner Optimization.
- Lead administrative meetings, communications, and team initiatives.
- Support succession planning and future leadership development within the Client Administration team.
Leadership & Professional Expectations
- Provide direct leadership and supervision of the Client Administration team.

A couple things to note about our Staff Accountant position:
- This is an in-person salaried position.
- The schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
- During tax season (approximately February 1 through April 15 ), the schedule increases to 40–50 hours per week to support seasonal workload demands.
Qualifications
The Staff Accountant position typically requires the following qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma; Associate or Bachelors degree highly preferred
Experience
- 5+ years of administrative, client service, operations, workflow management, or related experience preferred
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team management experience preferred
- Experience in an accounting, tax, financial services, legal, or professional services environment preferred, including managing workflow, capacity, and team performance.
- Experience training, mentoring, and supporting development of team members.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM software
- Critical thinking, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Client first attitude
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

We take a market-based approach to compensation. The expected base salary range for this role is $88,000 - $132,000. Actual compensation is determined on an individual basis and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and market conditions. This role may also be eligible for additional incentive compensation based on responsibilities and performance.
