Job Summary

We are looking for an Embedded Software Test Engineer with experience in Unit /Software Integration Testing / Hardware-Software Integration Testing for NXP microcontrollers. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Embedded C, embedded software architecture, debugging, and communication protocols such as CAN.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Unit Software Integration Testing (SW Integration Testing) for embedded software modules.
- Execute Hardware-Software Integration Testing on NXP microcontrollers.
- Develop, execute, and maintain integration test cases and test procedures.
- Analyze software requirements, design documents, and interface specifications.
- Validate integration between BSP, drivers, middleware, RTOS, and application software.
- Debug software and hardware integration issues using debuggers and diagnostic tools.
- Verify communication interfaces including CAN and troubleshoot protocol-related issues.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Support regression testing and integration testing activities during software releases.
- Participate in code reviews, test reviews, and defect review meetings.
- Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong programming knowledge in Embedded C .
- Experience with NXP microcontrollers (i.MX RT, S32K, LPC, Kinetis, or similar).
- Good understanding of embedded software architecture.
- Experience in Unit Software Integration Testing .
- Experience in Hardware-Software Integration Testing .
- Knowledge of CAN protocol (CAN/CAN FD).
- Experience with hardware debugging using JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
- Understanding of peripheral drivers such as GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, ADC, and Timers.
- Familiarity with software development, lifecycle and defect tracking tools.
