Job Characteristics:This is an entry level of professional engineering in which employees follow prescribed procedures and conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components. The Project Engineer is responsible to engineer/manage projects which cover customer equipment and services. Assists in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications. Contributes to the development of differentiated technology as well as products, processes or systems.
Education/Work Experience:Degree or advanced degree in an engineering discipline and fewer than two years of experience.
Independence Level/Reports to:Specific guidance is given about the nature and extent of the work required, methods to be used and results expected. Work is reviewed carefully for thoroughness and accuracy. Interacts with other employees to develop a network of resources to facilitate completion of assignments.
