- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers navigating workplace accommodation requests, providing clear, empathetic, and timely guidance throughout the process. Partner with managers and HR Business Partners on interactive process meetings and reasonable accommodation assessments.
- Coordinate with third-party leave administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless case management processing and accurate pay continuation.
- Update and maintain absence management procedures and employee-facing communications and resources.
Benefits Administration
- Own the day-to-day administration of the organization's employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), voluntary benefits, and retirement plans.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for employee benefits inquiries, resolving issues with accuracy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Process new hire enrollments, qualifying life events (QLEs), and termination/COBRA notifications in a timely and accurate manner. Analyze trends and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions. Lead annual open enrollment activities, including system configuration testing, employee communications, vendor coordination, and post-enrollment audits.
- Partner with benefits brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators (TPAs) to resolve escalated claims issues, billing discrepancies, and eligibility matters. Assist in the evaluation and benchmarking of benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with organizational strategy.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of benefits education and communication materials to drive employee understanding and program utilization.
Compensation
- Support administration of compensation initiatives (merit, bonus, equity) and compensation special projects as assigned.
- Assist in maintaining compensation-related documentation, tools, resources, and classification records.
