It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. The Purpose:

The Finishing Lead 2 performs advanced finishing work and helps coordinate production through job completion. This role manages multiple jobs at different stages of closing, maintains accurate job records, communicates priorities, and supports a productive and respectful team environment.

The Job:

- Perform advanced and custom finishing assignments according to job requirements, using sound judgment to address complex work.

- Understand job priorities and help coordinate work with leads and assistants to meet required completion times.

- Manage the closing of multiple jobs at different stages, including partial jobs, hampers, and

- closings in progress, while maintaining a clear record of each jobs status.

- Prepare and maintain required math sheets, CAD documents, and tags, ensuring information is complete and accurate.

- Update production tracking checkboxes as each stage is completed and proactively communicate job status, outstanding work, and concerns.

- Prepare for weekly meetings, participate beyond routine status updates, and initiate discussion of production needs and improvements.

- Help assistants stay focused, discourage nonoperational distractions, and support team members in completing their work.

- Promote positive morale and a respectful atmosphere, and assist with work-related conflict resolution when the manager is absent.

- Follow and reinforce the Finishing Room policies, respond constructively to feedback, and model professional conduct.

The Person:

- Complete assignments quickly and diligently, meet specific required completion times, and finish ahead of schedule when possible.

- Keep documentation and job status accurate while managing several jobs through different stages of closing.

- Maintain at least 95 percent on-time attendance and minimize unplanned absences.

- Communicate planned time off at least two weeks in advance and remain present and productive during required peak production schedules, including 65 or more hours per week.

Required Capabilities

- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced finishing work and the ability to complete custom assignments.

- Ability to manage competing deadlines, track multiple jobs, and maintain accurate production documentation.

- Clear communication, constructive conflict resolution, and a consistent record of professional performance. Internal lead eligibility includes no performance improvement plan in the preceding year.
