Your role
- Take responsibility for projects dealing with quality topics such as PDCA and 8D as well as restart activities.
- Support and improve the shaping processes (grinding) and/or surface finishing (polishing, coating) of optical components and assemblies.
- Optimize the assembly activities of lighting systems and optical components.
- Design test concepts, conduct tests with suitable parameters, and document the results.
- Manage processes during technological adjustments and ensure goals in terms of time, cost, and quality are achieved.
- Evaluate and adjust process flows within the organization.
- Lead and facilitate quality assurance and continual improvement measures and the corresponding meetings.
Your profile
- You hold a successfully completed master's degree in a technical or scientific discipline, ideally with a PhD.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering and production processes, preferably in the optical industry.
- Demonstrable experience in process optimization within a production environment, with preferable knowledge in project management and lateral leadership.
- A goal-oriented, responsible work approach, high resilience, and a strong hands-on mindset.
- Ability to assert yourself and act as a mediator between various stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, with very good German and good English proficiency (spoken and written).
