About this role
## Quin | About the Company
Quin is a safety-technology company. Our technology ships inside products from leading global brands across motorcycling, cycling, sport and industrial PPE. We are becoming the primary source of real-world crash data across every protective gear category, and we build the data tools that manufacturers and testing bodies use to engineer safer products and standards. Our engineering and product centre is in Hyderabad, with helmet testing labs in Hyderabad and London, and teams across India, the UK and the US.
### Why this role exists
Every Quin release can involve hardware, firmware, mobile, cloud and design, often for several products at once. We are looking for a technical delivery leader who sees the whole system, and coordinates cross-functionally efficiently. This Technical Program Manager must understand the technology well enough to challenge an estimate, read a firmware or API change and know what it breaks downstream, and be able to automate coordination wherever possible, so the team spends more time building with clarity.
### What you'll own
Cross-functional delivery
- Own the delivery plan across embedded, mobile, backend, web, QA and design, from requirement to release.
- Map dependencies, surface risks early and drive decisions to close them.
Release management
- Own release cadence and release readiness across multiple apps, firmware versions and cloud services.
- Work with QA on release sanity, regression coverage and go/no-go calls.
- Keep release notes, versioning and rollback plans clean and current.
Escalations and clarity
- Be the single named owner for delivery escalations. Bring leadership a clear recommendation, not just a problem.
- Give leadership one honest view of status, risk and dates, without anyone having to chase.
Documentation and knowledge
- Make documentation part of how work gets done: decision records, runbooks, release notes and handovers.
- Build a shared, searchable knowledge base so no system depends on human memory.
- Run it with access controls that protect confidential and product data.
Lightweight, automated process
- Set up planning, estimation and tracking that is lean and useful.
- Use automation to cut down status meetings, manual reporting and copy-paste work.
- Support team growth, and champion initiatives to ensure people and achievements are celebrated at Quin.
###
Must-haves
- 5+ years in software or hardware engineering delivery, with 2+ as a TPM or delivery lead for connected products.

- Shipped products that span at least two of: firmware/embedded, mobile apps, cloud backend.
- Release management across multiple products or customers at once.
- Strong written communication skills, without AI polish. Your docs and updates are short, clear and trusted.
- You use AI tools daily to plan, track, write and automate, but can work without it.
Strong pluses
- IoT, BLE devices, wearables or consumer hardware launches.
- Able to excel in fast-paced, high ownership environment.
- Built documentation or knowledge-management systems that people used.
- Experience with test automation, CI/CD and release pipelines.
### How we work
We are a small team of senior doers. We hire people who move fast and own their work, not people who manage others to do the work. You will own delivery outcomes, not just track them.
### Our hiring process & AI use
Use AI tools freely on any exercise. The only rule: declare what you used and be ready to defend every decision live. The recruitment process will involve at least 2 interviews, and 1 assignment and live debrief.
